Babi Ketjap Recipe

Babi Ketjap Indonesian FoodBabi Ketjap is pork meat served together with sweet soy sauce.

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams Pork, cut into stripes
  • 1 Onion, diced
  • 2 Garlic cloves, diced
  • 3 cm fresh Ginger, diced
  • 30 grams Dark Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Soya Sauce (kecap manis).
  • 2 cups Water
  • Lemon Juice
  • 1 Stock Cube
  • Salt and Pepper

Instructions:

  • Fry onion, gralic, ginger and pork in a small sauce pan. Wait until pork starts to get brown.
  • Add sugar, salt and pepper for taste.
  • Add the soya sauce, water, lemon juice and stock cube and leave it to simmer on a low heat for about 30 minutes.
  • Serve together with rice.
