Bami Goreng Recipe

Bami Goreng Indonesian FoodBami Goreng is a noodle dish made with pork, prawns and vegetables.

Ingredients:

  • 350 gram Egg noodles
  • 100 gram Pork, diced
  • 50 gram small Prawns
  • 1 Onion, diced
  • 2 cloves of Garlic, minced
  • 1 Carrot, sliced
  • 1 small Leek
  • 2 teaspoons Sambal Ulek
  • 1 teaspoon Shrimp Paste (trassi).
  • 3 teaspoons Kecap Manis
  • 3 teaspoons Oil
  • Pepper and Salt

Instructions:

  • First boil the noodles.
  • Heat a wok pan and add the oil.
  • Add onion and garlic and let it fry for 1 minute.
  • Add the meat, prawns, trassi and sambal ulek. Fry for another 3 minutes.
  • Add the carrots and leek and fry for 4 more minutes.
  • Add the noodles and kecap manis. Also add salt en pepper for taste. Fry for a further 4 minutes.
  • Serve together with hot peanut sauce.
