Gai Pad Graprow Recipe

Gai Pad Graprow Thai FoodGai Pad Graprow is a chicken dish marinated together with vinegar, lime and curry.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 1 head Garlic, crushed
  • 1/4 cup Rice Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon Brown Sugar
  • 2 tablespoon fresh Lime Juice
  • 2 teaspoons Red Curry Paste
  • 1/8 teaspoon Cayenne
  • 500 grams Chicken, boneless cut into medium cubes
  • 2 1/2 tablespoon Corn
  • 1 chopped Carrots
  • 250 grams Mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 cup Coconut Milk
  • 1 tablespoon Fish Sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Bean Shoots
  • 1/4 cup Coriander, chopped

Instructions:

  • Mix the vinegar, the brown sugar, lime juice, the curry paste and red pepper in a plastic bag for food.
  • Add the chicken, seal bag and place in refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.
  • Remove the chicken but keep the marinate in the refrigerator.
  • Heat and add oil to a sauce or wok pan and add the chicken. Let it cook for 5 minutes, and then set the chicken aside.
  • Add onion, garlic and carrots and wait 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the mushrooms and wait 3 more minutes, dont forget to soute.
  • Take the marinate from the refrigerator and add it to the pan.
  • Add the coconut milk, fish sauce. Lower the temperature and let it boil for 2 minutes.
  • Add the chicken again, sprinkle with salt and let it cook for another 2 minutes.
  • Add the sprouts and coriander and serve it while hot.
