Nasi Goreng Recipe

Nasi Goreng Indonesian FoodNasi Goreng is a rice dish made with vegetables and chicken.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 2 Green Chillis (Sambal Ulek).
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper
  • 1 Leek
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 250 grams Chicken, sliced
  • 3 tablespoon Soy Sauce (kecap manis).
  • 350 grams Rice (best if made from leftover rice).

Instructions:

  • Heat a large work pan and add the eggs. Make and omelette of it, slice it and set aside.
  • Add the oil to the wok pan. Add onion, leek, red bell pepper , garlic and chillis. Fry until the onion is soft.
  • Add the coriander and cumin. Also add the chicken and let it cook.
  • Add the rice, soy sauce and the sliced omelette. Let it cook for 5 more minutes
  • Decorate with some of the leftover leek and server.
