Nilagang Baka Recipe

Nilagang Baka Filipino FoodNilagang Baka is a pork dish mixed together with liver, chorizo and potatoes. in a tomato sauce.

Ingredients:

  • 1 kilo Beef, cut into cubes
  • 2 cubes Beef Bouillon
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 2 Carrots, cut into slices 2 inch long
  • 5 Potatoes, cut into quarters
  • 1 Green or Red Bell Pepper
  • 1/4 kilo Green Beans
  • 1 Cabbage, cut into quarters
  • Salt and Pepper

Instructions:

  • Add beef and onion to a pot and boil it under cover until the beef is tender. (aprx. 45 mins.)
  • Add 2 cubes of beef bouillon, carrots, and the potatoes. Let it boil for another 20 mins.
  • Now add green beans, bell pepper, and cabbage.
  • When the vegtables are done, add salt and pepper for taste and let it boil another 10 mins.
  • Serve it with rice and fish sauce with lime. (patis at kalamansi.)
